Riverina Endovascular runs a regular wound clinic dedicated to patients with chronic and complex wounds. Progress on chronic conditions is carefully documented, adjustments to therapy and can be made and dressings applied. Our specialist practice nurse liaise with community nursing organisation and allied health services to ensure continuity of care is maintained out into the community.
We rely heavily of clinical photographs including those taken by patients. These can be reviewed remotely and incorporated into your medical record.
Compression Garments
The treatment of many vascular conditions, particular those relating to varicose veins require the application of firm compression. This can be achieved by wearing special stocking, which can be obtained at most chemists. If this required you will be given a specific prescription.
Some people find the stocking difficult to manage, for these patients we can fit and supply the new compression wraps. These are a velco-based adjustable system that almost everyone can manage.
Vascular Ultrasound
A full range of vascular ultrasounds including follow-up surgery can be performed in the Edward Street practice but our specialist sonographer. Studies performed at this facility are most closely tailored to the needs of the patient and the treating surgeons. Most studies can be bulk-billed and referrals are made automatically. Details of making appointments can be found on the appointment tab.
We are not able to perform non-vascular ultrasound.
